Robert Murray Master Joiner

Robert MURRAY was born on 11 April 1836 in the Sanquhar Parish of Dumfriesshire.  He was a son of Robert MURRAY and Anna INGLIS.  Robert married Agnes MCNEIL on 03 January 1860 in the Cambusnethan Parish of Lanarkshire.  Agnes was born about 1844 in Motherwell, Lanarkshire and was the daughter of Andrew MCNEIL and Christina WHARRIE.  Robert and Agnes lived and raised a family in the village of Stane in Cambusnethan.

Robert MURRAY died on 16 June 1885 in Stane and Agnes McNeil MURRAY died on 06 March 1897 at 208 Kirk Road in Wishaw, Lanarkshire.

Children of Robert MURRAY and Agnes MCNEIL:

i.  Robert MURRAY, who was born on 22 July 1860 in the Cambusnethan Parish.

ii.  Andrew McNeil MURRAY, who was born on 26 September 1862 in Old Stane in Cambusnethan.  Andrew was married on 11 December 1884 to Annie Jane CORRIE.  Andrew died on 11 February 1898 at MacKenzie Place on Young Street in Wishaw.

iii.  John MURRAY, who was born on 17 April 1864 in the Shotts Parish of Lanarkshire.

iv.  Annie Inglis MURRAY, who was born on 29 July 1869 in the village of Stane.  Annie was married to Robert PENMAN and died on 06 May 1890 at 16 Young Street in Wishaw.

v.  James Patterson MURRAY, who was born on 04 May 1874 in Stane.  James was never married and died on 16 October 1917 at 108 Alexander Street in Wishaw.

vi.  Christian Wharrie MURRAY, who was born on 12 August 1876 in Stane.  Christina died on 07 December 1876 in Stane.

vii.  Agnes MURRAY, who was born in 1879 in Carnwath, Lanarkshire.  Agnes was never married and died on 04 April 1909 at 208 Kirk Road in Wishaw.

viii.  Alexander MURRAY, who was born in 1881 in Cambusnethan.
